Martin Smith

Martin Smith is a fantasy writer from Bristol, now based in Berkshire. He writes character-driven stories that mix political intrigue with grounded, human moments, including the occasional touch of humour that reminds you people are still people even in the middle of a crisis.

The Storm's Shadow is his debut novel and the first book in the A Legacy Forgotten series, a world he has spent years building both on the page and around the tabletop. Away from writing, Martin is a husband and father, a fan of football, wrestling and Formula 1, and a comedy writer alongside his brother.
