Patrick Farley

Patrick Farley brings more than twenty‑five years of experience as a high school teacher, counselor, principal, and adjunct professor to his work as a writer. After confronting and surrendering to his own struggle with alcohol addiction, his career has pivoted toward social work and mental health, with a particular focus on addiction. His journey as a United States Marine, onto a career in education, and into recovery, has shaped his perspective and deepened his commitment to helping others find resilience and healing.

Farley lives in Webster City, Iowa, with his wife and their two children. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys sports, traveling, reading, spending time with his family, working on classic cars, and taking long walks with his dog. His writing reflects both his professional expertise and his personal journey, offering insight, encouragement, and hope to those navigating challenges of their own.
