Dr. Joseph D. Foresi is a finance professional with over 20 years of experience.

Over his career, Joseph has developed a robust financial skill set in understanding, analyzing, and leading public and private companies focused on identifying, creating, and capturing shareholder value.

He has applied his skill set to his work in the investment industry and corporate finance. In the investment industry, he currently works in private wealth and asset management. As a Wall Street equity analyst, he was ranked the #1 Analyst of the Decade in 2020 out of thousands of analysts based on his stock‐picking performance. He has built expertise in the technology sector, including fintech and digital services. Joseph has been quoted in many financial publications, including Barron's and the Wall Street Journal, and made numerous public appearances, including on CNBC.

Joseph has been part of the corporate finance leadership team for a Fortune 50 company, where he utilized his expertise to drive shareholder value through the investor relations program. Before joining the IR team, he built and led an M&A origination team responsible for driving acquisitions for one of the world’s most acquisitive companies.

Joseph graduated magna cum laude from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He has an MBA from Northeastern University and a doctorate from the University of Rhode Island. He has published equity and peer reviewed academic research and taught at the undergraduate and graduate level, including a class based on his book, The Anatomy of a Stock. He has given invited talks and has held faculty appointments with various New England based college and universities. He and his family live in Boston, Massachusetts, where he works and serves on the board of several local organizations.
