James Dill has invested over 60 years in global ministry, serving as a pastor in Texas, California, Hawaii, and Canada. Throughout his career, he has planted ten congregations, re-established several others, and conducted church growth workshops in twenty-seven countries.
James holds a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Louisiana Baptist University & Seminary, as well as honorary doctorates from Jacksonville Theological Seminary and SEMISUD (Quito, Ecuador). He has held significant leadership roles, including President of International Bible College in Saskatchewan and currently serves on the Advisory Board of Youth with a Mission in Garden Valley, Texas.
In 2011, James and his wife, Linda, founded Shepherd’s Heart Ministry in Tyler, Texas. Dedicated to mentoring Christian leaders, the ministry has served over 6,400 ministers and laymen worldwide. James is an ordained bishop with the Church of God (Cleveland, Tennessee), where he has previously served on the International Executive Council, the World Missions Board of Directors, and the International Board of Education.
