Kat Summers writes romantic comedies for people who like their love stories with a side of the supernatural, the absurd, and the mildly catastrophic.

She believes that death gods deserve love interests, that ravens make excellent narrators, and that the best romances include at least one moment where everything catches fire (metaphorically or otherwise).

When not writing about ancient beings attempting modern romance, she can be found consuming alarming quantities of coffee, losing arguments with fictional characters who refuse to follow the outline, and insisting to loved ones that staring out windows is a vital part of the creative process.

She lives with her family, who have learned not to ask what she's smiling about when she's typing. (It's usually Corvus saying something terrible. It's always Corvus.)

Her Death Takes... series follows the continuing misadventures of Death, his half-dead bride Hel, and one deeply opinionated raven across holidays, disasters, and the occasional trickster god. More chaos is always on the way.
