Robert A Morton Sr.

Robert A. Morton Sr. is a pastor, writer, community builder, and nonprofit founder serving Northern California. He leads Oro Vista Baptist Church in Oroville and cofounded the Black Resiliency Project, where his work weaves together faith, healing, leadership, and lasting community change.

Robert writes for people in the middle of becoming. His focus sits at the intersection of spirituality, identity, culture, and formation, especially for those navigating growth, calling, and transition while carrying real responsibility. His voice is pastoral but grounded, reflective yet practical. It has been shaped by lived experience, theological training, and over a decade of community engagement.

Becoming Me: A Journey In As You Journey Through is Robert's debut devotional. It offers 40 days of intentional reflection, spiritual honesty, and personal realignment. This is not a book of polished perfection. It is an invitation into the process of becoming, with room for struggle, clarity, and grace along the way.

Robert is a husband, father, preacher, and lifelong learner. He believes transformation begins within and ripples outward into families, churches, and communities. His work consistently calls people beyond mere survival and toward faithful, whole living.
