Henry Won was born in Battambang, Cambodia, and survived the Khmer Rouge regime as a child before escaping to Thailand and building a new life in the United States. Over four decades in the hospitality industry, he rose from the dining room floor to leadership and earned his credentials as a Certified Wine Sommelier — a striking achievement for a lifelong non-drinker.

He is the author of the Amazon bestseller Be the Six-Figure Server!, a training guide that has helped servers across the country turn their craft into a career. His memoir, Of Heartbreaks.
