Abbey McCormack is an author, illustrator, and school psychologist who creates meaningful stories for children and families rooted in empathy, faith, and connection. Drawing from her professional experience supporting children’s social and emotional growth, Abbey writes stories that honor individuality while highlighting the power of collaboration and understanding.

She is the author and illustrator of Mumpkin the Pumpkin, a heartwarming story about identity and belonging, and the creator of O Come, O Come Emmanuel: A 20-Minute Advent Journey for Families, a reflective devotional designed to help families slow down and prepare their hearts during the Advent season.

Abbey is also the author of Chip, Chirp, and Cheep, a whimsical picture-book inspired by a cherished bedtime story originally told to her by her father, now thoughtfully reimagined for today’s readers. She lives in Wisconsin with her family.
