J Mom

J and his mom are the authors of the Strong Like J series, children’s books inspired by J’s real-life journey with Type 1 Diabetes. Together, they write stories that help kids understand medical differences, build confidence, and learn that being different doesn’t mean being weak.

J is an energetic kid who loves running fast, building things, being outside, and dogs. His experiences navigating diabetes at school and in everyday life inspire stories that encourage bravery, kindness, and self-advocacy.

J’s mom is passionate about helping families feel seen and supported through honest, hopeful storytelling. Through the Strong Like J series, they aim to empower children, educate peers, and raise awareness for kids living with Type 1 Diabetes.
