Gregorio De Lauretis is a children’s book illustrator based in Florence, Italy.

After several years as an Art Director, he shifted his focus entirely to illustration, working with simple shapes, minimal lines, and clear, readable imagery.

He is drawn to the moment just before a story begins, when everything is still possible, and that is where his images take shape.
