Katie Chappell

Katie Chappell is an author and illustrator. Salty Dog and Pals is her debut children’s book, co-written with Helen Stephens, best known for the much-loved How to Hide a Lion series.

Katie is also co-founder of The Good Ship Illustration, who offer no nonsense advice for illustrators navigating a creative career.

When she’s not writing or Good Shipping, she runs Illustrated Live, working as a graphic recorder and live event illustrator, drawing ideas as they happen at talks, conferences and workshops.
