Curse Mackey

Curse Mackey is a musician, writer, and multidisciplinary artist based in Austin, Texas. His work spans solo recordings and collaborations with Pigface, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, Clan of Xymox, and David J of Bauhaus/Love & Rockets, with performances across the United States and internationally.

In addition to music, Curse has produced visual art exhibitions shown in London, Osaka, New York City, Los Angeles, and Mexico City, and is the co-author of the art books Rides of Passage and DRAW. He is the founder of Cool Molecule, a creative agency supporting music and visual art projects.

His new book, The Sound Philosophy:An Artist's Survival Guide was released in hardback and audiobook formats on May 23, 2026.
