Natalie J. Evans, M.S., CCC-SLP is a licensed and certified pediatric speech-language pathologist with over 20 years of experience supporting children and families in early communication development. She is the creator of the EVANS Method™, a connection-first, family-centered approach designed to help late talkers and children with communication differences grow language through play, everyday routines, and emotionally safe relationships.
Natalie’s work is shaped by both her professional expertise and her personal journey as a mother of a child who was a late talker. Drawing from real-life experiences at home and in the clinic, she helps parents move away from pressure, drills, and “say it again” strategies—and toward connection, confidence, and joy.
Through her books, programs, and resources, Natalie empowers families to support communication in real life—during meals, play, bath time, car rides, and bedtime—without needing to become therapists themselves. Her compassionate approach reassures parents that they are not failing, behind, or doing it wrong—and that meaningful communication begins long before words appear.
Natalie is the founder of Express Yourself Therapies, formerly Puzzle Piece Kids, and lives in Texas with her two daughters, Daisy and Rosie an energetic dog, Marley.
