Nathan Christopher Pease

Nathan and Heather Pease are a husband-and-wife author team, entrepreneurs, and the founders of Pease Patch Publishing. Together they created the CeCe the CEO series — picture books that bring the excitement of entrepreneurship to life for children ages 3–6.

The inspiration for CeCe came straight from their own home. As parents of three kids who have grown up watching Mom and Dad build businesses, dream big, and tackle every challenge head-on, Nathan and Heather saw firsthand how naturally children absorb the entrepreneurial spirit — they just needed a character who reflected it back to them.

CeCe is that character. Bold, creative, and determined, she shows young readers that big ideas can start small — with a lemonade stand, a cookie stand, and whatever comes next. Each book in the series is designed not just to be read, but to spark real conversations between parents and kids about creativity, problem-solving, and the courage to try.

Nathan and Heather live and breathe what they write. As entrepreneurs raising little entrepreneurs, they believe the best gift you can give a child is the confidence to say I have an idea — and I'm going to make it happen. Book 3 in the CeCe the CEO series is on its way!
