Marcus Bebee has had a passion for writing for as long as he can remember—from early journal entries to short stories, even earning awards for his work during his school years. Like many of his creative pursuits, such as dancing, writing is something he approaches wholeheartedly, often immersing himself completely and forming deep connections with the characters as they come to life on the page.
An author, filmmaker, choreographer, and storyteller, Marcus’s work explores the intersection of faith, mystery, and the unexplained. His writing blends atmospheric suspense with spiritual depth, inviting readers into worlds where belief is tested, courage is revealed, and unseen forces challenge what we think we know. His first book, Haunted Lake Charles, Louisiana: Through the Eyes of a Lead Paranormal Investigator, draws from his experience investigating the paranormal and examining how faith intersects with the unknown. His second book, The Unusual Ministries of Father Kein Laimend: The First Real Assignment, marked the beginning of a faith-driven fictional series exploring spiritual warfare, obedience, and sacrifice.
Marcus has been featured on Louisiana’s Playground, where he discussed paranormal investigations and the role of faith in everyday life, as well as multiple radio appearance and public speaking venues. He also holds credits in film and television as a director, producer, and actor, and is the creator of the paranormal investigation Docuseries Spirit Guides, demonstrating a creative versatility across multiple mediums.
At the heart of his work is a belief he holds close: spend time each day talking to God—but more importantly, spend time each day listening. He believes God has a plan for everyone, and that some of the most powerful moments come when we are quiet enough to hear it.
