Lance Olson

I’m a designer, painter, and digital creator with a lifelong habit of making things. I love traditional painting, digital art, and creating coloring books, and I’m also an enthusiastic colorist myself. Give me a good set of colored pencils and something interesting to color, and I can disappear for a while.

I’m an Orange County boy at heart, an avid gym-goer, and endlessly inspired by travel, architecture, fantasy, history, humor, and anything just a little bit unusual. I have a particular fondness for beautiful things that don’t take themselves too seriously.

More than anything, I believe the world needs more creativity, personality, and weirdness. Modern life can sometimes feel like everything has been focus-grouped, streamlined, sanitized, and painted the same tasteful shade of beige. I think creative people are here to mess with that. Add some color. Make something strange. Make somebody laugh. I take creating seriously, but I have absolutely no interest in making everything serious. If something I create makes your day a little more colorful, imaginative, or wonderfully weird, then I’ve done my job.
