Lillian Rose

Lillian G. Rose, President of the Hispanic Connection of Southern Indiana, has made it her life's work to empower immigrants of all backgrounds and nationalities. Lillian is a former USAID technical consultant who spent sixteen years working across Latin America, empowering low-income entrepreneurs and supporting sustainable development. In 2001, a chance encounter with a priest in Indiana led her to a new mission: serving Hispanic immigrants through ministry and legal advocacy.

As Deputy Director of the Hispanic Ministry and founder of a transformative legal aid center, Lillian and her team have helped thousands of families obtain their permanent legal status and U.S. citizenship. At 84, affectionately known as "The Church Lady", Lillian remains a fierce advocate, and storyteller.
