Don has spent much of his life in various Asian countries an expat, working as an English teacher at private schools and universities. He was a contract teacher for the U.S. State Department's education programs in Indonesia and Vietnam. He speaks several Asian languages poorly, and in his younger years, was a Korean translator for the U.S. military. He has also worked as a civilian for the Department of Defense in Texas and California. Don enjoys the simple things in life: nature, good coffee, a beer with friends, travel, rock, blues and metal music. He is currently somewhere in Southeast Asia.
