Nicolas Thomas

Thomas (Tom) Niquette AKA Nicolas Thomas was born in Wisconsin and moved around the country, working in the energy industry, for several large corporations. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in Geology from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and has lived and worked in North Dakota, Texas, Montana, Wisconsin and Florida. He retired at age 66 in 2019 and then returned to Texas.

He is married with two children, a daughter and a son. His wife Mary was born and raised in Texas and both of his children were born in Texas. His daughter still lives near them in Texas and his son has returned to live in Montana, where he was raised from age six to age fourteen.

Between 1979 and 2001, he worked for a diversified energy corporation based in Montana. Tommy Come Lately is the true story about the divestiture of that corporation, where he lost everything, and is about the power games and lack of ethics in Corporate America. Wildtype is the true story about his efforts to care for and help his beloved sister who had a Glioblastoma 'Wildtype' brain tumor.
