Born in late 1970, my life started when many people were living below the poverty line.

My family was too.

After I was born, they had no clue what to do with me or where they would put me to sleep.

They found a small box—a shoe box, to be exact.

That was my first bed, so you can see how "lucky" I was.

But that was not the only problem they had.

I call those of us born from the late seventies until the early two thousands the "lost generation."

It is not just because life was unfair to us, but because we also survived war.

From being poor and hungry to losing the best years of our lives, we struggled, but we survived.

We learned a lot, but we also lost much more.

So, I belong to a lost generation.

My books are about living life, surviving, and praying for a better tomorrow.

No one deserves to live through the war and poverty.

So I pray for peace in the world,... Amen...
