AJ Arestia writes dark epic fantasy about broken systems, dangerous truths, and the people caught between obedience and rebellion. His debut novel, Wardens of the Abyss, blends brutal arenas, forbidden magic, and political intrigue with deeply human characters forced to decide what they’re willing to sacrifice to survive.

With a background in physics, mathematics, and engineering, AJ builds worlds where magic obeys rules, institutions protect themselves at any cost, and heroism is rarely clean. His stories focus on found family, moral ambiguity, and the slow realization that doing nothing can be as destructive as choosing wrong.
