Hi, I'm a 76 year old animal lover who has never written a book before. I have worked with animals in a volunteer capacity off and on for much of my life, including starting a local cat charity in 2006 as well as always including them in my artwork.

In 2020 I took a course offered by the Animal Justice Academy in Canada, and learned how I could help more of our fellow creatures. Then, after searching for books as presents for vegan kids I knew, and finding very little available, I decided to take up the challenge of writing one myself, featuring real stories and animals from our local Cedar Row Farm Sanctuary. It is my hope that, in reading it, vegan children will feel appreciated for their contribution, and that all animal lovers -young and old - will learn in a gentle and easily accessible way how to help "the forgotten ones."Additionally, almost all proceeds from the sale of this book will go to support Cedar Row.
