Ann Larson

I'm a writer and activist focused on economic justice. My work has appeared in The Nation, The New Republic, Fast Company, The Chronicle of Higher Education, and many more. A co-founder of the Debt Collective and a fellow with the Economic Hardship Reporting Project, I am the coauthor of Can't Pay: The Case for Economic Disobedience and Debt Abolition. My book, Cleanup on Aisle Five, tells the story of my year working in a supermarket during the Covid pandemic.
