Jeffrey Hook didn’t write Ziggy & Zeke for his kids.

He doesn’t have any. He wrote it for the kid he used to be.

Jeff grew up with more questions than answers — the kind of kid who got labeled “the problem child” when really he just needed someone to believe in him. Until one man did.

A Big Brothers volunteer walked into Jeff’s life and never walked out. He became a mentor, a guide, and ultimately adopted Jeff as his own son. He is the father Jeff always needed and still calls Dad today.

That boy grew up to graduate high school, serve in the military, earn a 2nd degree black belt, build a 35-year broadcast television career, and marry the love of his life.

At 60 years old, he kept his last promise to that little boy. He wrote the book.
