Barbara Lander Burger

Barbara Lander Burger is the author of gentle picture books and alphabet stories filled with color, comfort, and quiet wonder. She also creates nature and bird guides through Brookwell Publishing, inspired by time spent observing the small details of the world around her.

Many know her simply as Barb, and some may remember her as Barbara Burger from earlier chapters of her life. Today, her work reflects a love of place—shorelines, parks, and everyday moments that invite a closer look.

She lives where creativity often spills into the living room—sometimes in the form of quilts, books, and a dog searching for lost toys.

Readers can also find Barbara online through Recliner Reflections.
