A.H. Nguyen writes fiction based on real life experiences. Most of his books are romantic comedies because his love life has been mostly a joke. That is, until he met his wife. He centers his stories on Vietnamese-American life, family, and identity. His stories blend humor, emotional depth, and coming-of-age themes, often set in Southern California and inspired by real cultural experiences.

Growing up between tradition and modern American life, he’s drawn to the messy, meaningful moments that shape relationships—first love, family expectations, family drama, coming of age and everything in between.
