IFy Atelier

IFy Atelier is a Belfast publishing studio founded by Ifeyinwa Nwaejike. It began when Ifeyinwa turned to colouring for calm while writing her crime thriller and noticed how few adult colouring books explored African places with care and context. Her work in elderly care shaped her interest in activities designed with dignity and accessibility.

The result was Iconic African Locations, pairing illustrations of places with cultural and historical notes. Ifeyinwa’s background combines creativity, publishing and a STEM-informed approach to problem-solving, shaped by her studies at the University of Dundee and Queen’s University Belfast. This blend of creative thinking and analytical structure guides her storytelling, research and development of IFy Atelier: exploring unfamiliar subjects, questioning assumptions, evaluating information and building the business. She is developing volumes 3 and 4 of the series, alongside Collateral Identity and Northern Ireland: Two Faces, One Nation.
