Drazen Ruzic

Dražen Ružić is one of the five men at the centre of the Three Pounds Trilogy. He grew up in wartime Croatia, left for the United States at eighteen, and spent thirty years in uniform. He doesn't talk about those years. That's not what this is about.

Four of the five are gone. He's the one who writes it down — so his brothers exist somewhere outside his head.

The trilogy is inspired by true events. Three Pounds and Origins are published. The Weight is forthcoming and will complete the series.

He lives in Hungary with his wife, two children, two dogs, and a motorcycle he takes to the track far too seriously.
