Lore Apostol

Lore is a children’s book author who believes that writing isn’t reserved for a chosen few—it’s a gift available to anyone with a story to share. With her recently published titles The Moonshadow Cat: The Kitten of Light and Tiny Caterpillar with Big Dreams, she uses whimsical animal characters to spark imagination and expand what children (and adults) believe is possible.

As Solomon wrote, “Of making many books there is no end,” and Lore embraces this truth wholeheartedly. She sees the human mind as an ocean of knowledge, wisdom, and wonder—an endless place where stories help us explore, discover, and remember what makes life extraordinary.

When she isn’t writing, Lore can be found in nature, traveling to experience different cultures, practicing daily meditation and yoga as an observer of consciousness, or enjoying sports like tennis, pickleball, and squash. She values both community and solitude, knowing each offers its own kind of nourishment.

Lore’s deepest intent is to spark the light within every reader—especially children—and help them remember the extraordinary truths we sometimes forget.
