Sarah Grace Thompson is a Christian author, former collegiate athlete, youth mentor, and family ministry leader with a heart for helping children, parents, and families grow in faith, confidence, and character.
For more than a decade, Sarah has served in family ministry at her church, walking alongside young couples and families through the joys and challenges of marriage, parenting, faith, and everyday life. Through mentoring and ministry, she has seen firsthand how deeply parents desire to guide their children well while also depending on God for wisdom, strength, and peace.
Her writing began with a desire to encourage young athletes through the pressures, disappointments, and challenges that come with competition. Drawing from her experiences as an athlete, team captain, coach, and mentor, Sarah created devotionals that help young people understand that their identity is not defined by wins, losses, statistics, or the opinions of others—but by who they are in Christ.
Her work has since expanded to include Christian devotionals for both daughters and sons, along with prayer resources designed to help parents bring their children’s needs, worries, dreams, decisions, and futures before God.
In *101 Prayers for My Children*, Sarah brings together her experience in youth mentorship, family ministry, and faith-based writing to offer parents a practical, Scripture-centered companion for praying through every stage of a child’s life. Her goal is to help parents find meaningful words when they want to pray but may not know exactly what to say.
Whether she is writing for a young athlete facing pressure, a son or daughter learning to walk with God, or a parent praying for a child they deeply love, Sarah’s message remains the same: true strength, confidence, wisdom, and peace are ultimately found in God.
Through her books and ministry, Sarah hopes to help families pause in the middle of busy lives, turn their hearts toward God, and build a lasting legacy of faith—one prayer, one devotion, and one day at a time.
