Jennifer Lee

Jennifer Lee is the Academy Award-winning writer and director of Disney's FROZEN and FROZEN II. She earned a Tony Award nomination for Best Book of a Musical for her stage adaptation of FROZEN. She also co-wrote the screenplay for Oscar-nominated WRECK-IT RALPH, as well as the story for the Academy Award-winning ZOOTOPIA.

She served as Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios from 2018 to 2024, during which time she Executive Produced the Academy Award-winning ENCANTO, Oscar-nominated RAYA AND THE LAST DRAGON, and MOANA 2. She also won two Children's and Family Emmy Awards for ZOOTOPIA+ and ONCE UPON A STUDIO.

In 2024 she began work on FROZEN III. Lee and her family split their time between New York City and Los Angeles.
