Rex Ranque is a missionary pastor, author, intercessor, and preacher of the gospel whose life has been marked by a deep burden for prayer, revival, and the nations. For more than twenty-eight years, he has carried the message of Jesus Christ into the nations of the 10/40 Window—regions often marked by spiritual darkness, persecution, cultural resistance, and the urgent need for the gospel. Ministering in underground house churches and among communities where proclaiming Christ can come at great personal cost, his life and ministry have been shaped on the spiritual frontlines of global missions.

It was in these hidden places of worship, amid danger, suffering, and fervent faith, that Rex came into a deeper revelation of prayer—not merely as a religious practice, but as a Spirit-empowered life of communion with God. Through years of ministry, intercession, and biblical study, he has become deeply committed to teaching believers the difference between prayer shaped by tradition and prayer led by the Holy Spirit—the kind of prayer Jesus modelled, taught, and empowered.

Rex holds a Master’s Degree in Theology and is a recipient of an Honorary Doctor of Divinity, reflecting his dedication to biblical truth, ministry leadership, and the spiritual formation of the Church. His writing flows from both theological conviction and personal experience in the presence of God, with a strong desire to equip believers to become watchmen, intercessors, and faithful carriers of God’s heart for their families, churches, and the nations.

He is married to Lovely Ann, and together they are blessed with two children, Iszach James and Shania Isabela Ranque. Through his ministry and writing, Rex continues to call the Body of Christ into deeper prayer, greater surrender, and a life fully empowered by the Holy Spirit.
