Orion Keets writes grounded speculative fiction about grief, power, and the fragile systems that shape humanity. His work blends intimate human stakes with high-concept ideas, exploring what happens when ordinary people collide with extraordinary forces.
He is the author of Project: LOGOS, a science-fiction novella examining artificial intelligence, alien intervention, and the cost of moral compromise. His larger Orionverse projects include the forthcoming novel Melody Bay, a character-driven speculative drama set inside a controversial biotech sanctuary.
Keets’ fiction focuses less on spectacle and more on consequence — the emotional aftermath of technology, ambition, and belief. His stories are rooted in working-class realism and shaped by themes of responsibility, restraint, and redemption.
He lives in Arkansas and is currently expanding the Orionverse across multiple novels. He also recently placed on the Shortlist with his full length unpublished novel< Melody Bay in the Autocrit 90 Day Spring Novel Challange.
