Nicole E. Holland

Dr. Nicole E. Holland is a Professor in the Educational Foundations Program, the Masters in Community and Teacher Leaders Program, and the African and African American Studies Program at Northeastern Illinois University. Dr. Holland is a social psychologist, educator, author, and award-winning scholar. Her research interests include educational equity, social policies, and justice oriented transformation as they impact populations that have been, and continue to be, systemically disenfranchised. Her research specifically addresses creating circumstances that promote academic engagement, support, achievement, and success for students who are underrepresented in college-going and college graduating populations.
