Nathan Eidem

Nathan Eidem is a geographer, university lecturer, and fiction author whose research in environmental and societal resilience informs his storytelling across genres. He holds a Ph.D. in Geography from Oregon State University and has contributed to projects with the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, the United Nations Environment Programme, and National Geographic. His fiction spans millennia — from the courts of ancient Egypt in the Pharaoh series, to the fall of Rome in Journals of Empire, to the volcanic calderas of The Loop Universe, a 15-book sci-fi saga exploring alien consciousnesses hidden beneath Earth’s surface. Across all of his work, he’s drawn to the same questions: power, truth, identity, and what it means to be witnessed.
