I've spent my career trying to convince people that nature is for everyone, even those of you who have killed a cactus. (It happens. We don’t judge.)

I’m the author of The Power of Plants and the Greenfingers Guides, which I’m delighted to say so many of you have taken to your hearts. It was great to be named Garden Journalist of the Year by the Garden Media Guild and my book Border Plants was shortlisted for Reference Book of the Year in 2011.

Powered by curiosity, chlorophyll and tea, I’m a passionate advocate of the power of nature. My career has taken many turns: from waitressing in my teens, fashion modelling, landscape and floral design. A professional horticulturalist, and Chelsea gold landscape designer, I’ve created numerous enchanting gardens, and naturally plants have played a leading role. Coupled with TV broadcasting, journalism and creativity, nature remains at the heart of everything I do.
