Brian Schneider is a former Division I lacrosse coach and the author of the bestselling Tyrannosaurus Lax! children’s book series — educational lacrosse books designed specifically for toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary readers.

After 11 years coaching at Yale University, Columbia University, and Brown University — and playing four years as a collegiate goalie at Hofstra University — Brian saw first hand how powerful sports can be in building confidence, teamwork, and character. But he also noticed something missing: age-appropriate lacrosse books for the youngest fans of the game.

That’s why he created Tyrannosaurus Lax! — a fun, dinosaur-led introduction to lacrosse that teaches basic terminology, ABCs, vocabulary, and early literacy skills in an engaging and colorful format.
