Frank Miles has advocated for civil rights and inclusion throughout his career as a lawyer and business executive. After practicing for 18 years with the region’s largest law firm, Frank joined a major corporation that had only recently hired its first Diversity Director. He suggested that, as an executive officer and the company’s strategic planning leader, he should oversee Diversity initiatives to underscore their importance to the entire enterprise.
Frank leveraged his role beyond the company by encouraging it to support regional inclusion efforts. He also chaired or co-chaired DEIB committees at several community organizations, and in 2008, co-founded the Diversity and Inclusion Professionals of Central Pennsylvania with Deborah D Vereen.
An award-winning educator, Frank has taught at the graduate, undergraduate, and secondary school levels. A graduate of Bucknell University, he earned his Juris Doctorate from the George Washington University Law School.
