David Baumgartner

David Baumgartner is a leadership and team development practitioner with three decades of experience supporting leaders through growth, change, and organizational complexity. He began his career in 1995 with an organization that grew from 500 to more than 16,000 employees, supporting leaders through sustained growth and cultural shifts.

His work includes leadership development, team alignment, and process improvement across multiple industries. In 2020, he transitioned from HR leadership to focus full time on Tresane, a leadership and team development firm grounded in the belief that workplaces are built through teams.

David is a published author and holds senior HR credentials (SHRM SCP, SPHR) along with advanced coaching credentials (PCC, ITCA). His work blends lived experience with research in leadership and team effectiveness, reflecting a focus on awareness, alignment, and intention.
