Justin J. Leto

Justin J. Leto is a Global Principal Solutions Architect for Private Equity at Amazon Web Services. He brings over two decades of hands-on experience leading data engineering, machine learning, and AI enterprise transformation. As a recognized global technology thought leader, author, and speaker, he has delivered keynote presentations at global conferences and universities, contributed to over a dozen AWS technical publications, and was featured in tech magazines. In recognition of his contributions at the intersection of engineering and industry, Penn State’s College of Engineering named him one of 13 Outstanding Engineering Alumni in 2026, the highest honor bestowed on its 100,000 living engineering graduates.

He is the author of Data Engineering with Generative and Agentic AI on AWS: Building an AI-Augmented Data Practice for the Enterprise, published by Apress. Through his book, Justin seeks to help data and AI practitioners prepare their organization for the AI revolution. Justin leads the NYC Generative and Agentic AI Meetup, a 12,000+ member community, and founded Nova Labs, one of the largest member-driven innovation labs in the world. He holds an MBA and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Penn State, is a licensed Professional Engineer and certified Project Management Professional. Outside of work, he is a jazz and blues keyboardist and an experienced offshore sailor. He lives in the New York City area with his wife and two small children.
