Deborah Ross-Grayman is a writer and editor of Voices of Resilience: An Anthology of Stories Written by Children of Holocaust Survivors. These deeply personal narratives, by 12 authors, reveal the universal impact of historical trauma on descendants and their families and the inheritance of memory, loss, and resilience.
Her experience carrying a deep loss she could not explain, led Deborah to connect with other children of Holocaust survivors. She continues to co-facilitate the Vancouver Second Generation (2G) Group. Together the members celebrate their resilience, creativity, and commitment to make the world a better place. This anthology of stories is the current endeavor of the group.
Deborah has her MA in clinical psychology and is a co-founder of the Wallenberg-Sugihara Civil Courage Society in Vancouver
She has published in the book Homeward, the Jewish Independent, and the Zachor magazine.
