Linn Schmidt

Linn Schmidt has loved old treasures since childhood. She spent many happy hours exploring her grandparents’ attic in search of hidden finds and watching her grandmother bake in the kitchen. To this day, she collects vintage tableware—pieces that now often appear in her photography. She inherited her passion for baking from her grandmother and believes that a weekend without cake is a weekend wasted. Linn Schmidt is the author of Grandma’s German Cookbook and a photographer who lives with her family in Hamburg, Germany. Beyond her love for baking and photography, she is deeply inspired by themes of mindfulness, self-compassion, and intentional living.
