Dason Evans is a medical doctor and medical educator specialising in how medical students learn and develop the skills required to become effective clinicians.
He has over 25 years’ experience teaching clinical skills and working with students across all stages of medical school, including those finding study or assessments challenging. His work focuses on practical approaches to learning medicine, preparing for exams, and building confidence in both written and clinical assessments.
He is also involved in faculty development, supporting doctors to become more effective teachers and improving the quality of medical education, with experience across a range of international settings.
Dason is co-author of How to Succeed at Medical School and 101 Things to Do with Spare Moments on the Ward.
He believes that struggling is a normal part of learning medicine, and that with the right approach, all students can improve and succeed.
