D. Pieters

D. Pieters is the author of Songs of the Red Delta: Bone-White Fields, a Southern Gothic supernatural novel set against the charged history of the Mississippi Delta. His fiction blends folklore, moral tension, and literary vampire myth to explore power, restraint, and transformation in a world where the past refuses to stay buried. He is currently expanding the Red Delta story with future installments in the series.

In addition to fiction, Pieters has written works on leadership, relationships, critical thinking, and personal discipline. Drawing from his background as a certified respiratory therapist and former Program Leader who spent nearly a decade mentoring youth in educational programs, his writing consistently examines character, responsibility, and the choices that shape a person’s life.

Across genres, his work returns to a central theme: that real strength is not found in domination, but in discipline, clarity, and restraint.
