Robert H. Behrens lives in Sydney, Australia, where he is preparing to transition from a long career in transport management into full-time writing. For more than two decades he has worked as a transport supervisor, while quietly nurturing a lifelong passion for storytelling.

In recent years Robert has dedicated increasing time to writing, drawing on personal experiences that explore themes of grief, resilience, illness, and the unexpected turns life can take. His debut memoir, THE UNINVITED GUESTS, reflects this deeply personal journey and his belief in the power of honest storytelling to connect with readers facing their own challenges.

Robert is married and the proud father of three adult sons, as well as a grandfather to four beloved granddaughters who continue to inspire him. He is now focusing on writing as the next chapter of his life and is already at work on his second book.
