Tim Simons didn’t thrive at secondary school, but went on to run several small businesses before studying Television Production as a mature student. He later worked in the film and television industry, mainly in script and research departments, before an unexpected turn led him to retrain as a nurse — a path eventually cut short by a bike accident. Living with ADHD, Tim has always found writing to be the one constant that steadied him. In 2023 he began an MA in Creative Writing, and soon after moved from East London to Suffolk. He writes both fiction and non‑fiction, fuelled by a love of books (especially true crime) and a lifelong pull toward the sea and its wild, restless waves.
