Brian Wayne Hand

Brian Wayne Hand was born on December 5, 1976, and lives in Apache Junction, Arizona with his girlfriend, Elaine L'Heureux. A lifelong lover of storytelling, Hand writes fiction that blends dark imagination, suspense, and character-driven narratives that often explore the shadowy edges of human nature.

His debut novel, Crown of the Underworld, was released in 2013 and marked the beginning of his work as an independent author. Since then, he has continued developing stories that range from supernatural horror to gritty desert noir, frequently drawing inspiration from the landscapes and communities of Arizona.

When he’s not writing, Hand is a devoted supporter of Arizona’s home teams and can usually be found cheering on the Arizona Cardinals, Phoenix Suns, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Arizona State
