Dr. Umeshkumar K.U. is a One Health IP (Intellectual Property) and Innovation Strategist, Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) researcher, and bioinformatics scientist dedicated to bridging the gap between scientific discovery, innovation, and real-world impact. With advanced training in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Intellectual Property Rights, and a PhD in Biotechnology (Bioinformatics), he combines expertise in research, patents, technology transfer, and commercialization to help transform ideas into meaningful solutions.

His work focuses on antimicrobial resistance, horizontal gene transfer, innovation management, and intellectual property strategy, with a particular interest in translating scientific research into technologies that benefit society.
