John Taggart

John W. Taggart is a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel who spent years stationed in Europe and deployed to the Middle East. The places stayed with him. So did the way institutions bury what they'd rather not explain.

He writes thrillers built on real archaeology and real science — the kind where the history is accurate and the questions it raises are the ones nobody's comfortable answering. His debut novel, The Recurrence Protocol, is the first book in The Protocol Series.

He lives and writes on the Texas Gulf Coast.
