Heike Bentheimer

Heike Bentheimer was born in Bavaria in 1966. After studying geography, art history, and Islamic studies, she began working as a tour guide in 1991. Her repertoire includes not only Morocco, but also Tunisia, Libya, Oman, the Gulf States, almost all regions of France, and the Danube riparian states. She now plans and organizes trips worldwide for a renowned cultural tours, garden tours, and study tour operator, but she also continues to lead groups herself. Traveling to all corners of the world remains one of her favorite pastimes, because, as the Moroccan scholar Ibn Battuta recognized already in the 14th century: "He who lives, sees, but he who travels, sees more."
